International Use

To be covered outside the borders of Germany and have valid insurance for the vehicle, you must add international usage.

The following countries are permitted for driving

Zone 1: Andorra, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Finland, France, Gibraltar, Great Britain, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Austria, Portugal, San Marino, Sweden, Switzerland, Spain, and Vatican City.

Tow Hitch

Applies only to vehicles with a tow hitch. If you need a vehicle with a tow hitch, you must add this when booking. The insurance covers damages caused, for example, by a trailer. If you do not use the tow hitch, purchasing the insurance is not required.
